Why Train With Us
AMC Academy Tech delivers engineering‑driven, evidence‑based training for maritime SATCOM, SD‑WAN, LEO/GEO hybrid connectivity, and vessel networks. Our programmes are built from real deployments, real systems, and real operational constraints not classroom theory.
1. Real Engineering, Not Classroom Theory
Our modules are built from live maritime projects: VSAT commissioning, Aptus/AptusNX diagnostics, Peplink
SpeedFusion design, Starlink Maritime integration, L‑Band redundancy, and vessel network architecture. Every
workflow, diagram, and procedure reflects how systems behave offshore, under load, and in real weather.
2. OEM‑Aligned Content Based on Real Systems
Training content is aligned with the equipment actually deployed at sea: Intellian VSAT/TVRO/L‑Band, Cobham/SeaTel
platforms, Peplink SD‑WAN, Starlink Maritime, Inmarsat GX & FleetBroadband, Iridium Certus, and Furuno maritime
systems. We focus on real architectures, not generic diagrams.
3. Built by a Certified Maritime SATCOM Engineer
Our programmes are designed by a GVF Advanced Satcom Professional and Peplink Certified Engineer (PCE), with
additional certifications across cloud and service management (AWS, Azure, ITIL, DevOps). The material is written
from first‑hand engineering experience, not repackaged content.
4. Evidence‑Based Training Materials
Modules, diagrams, and workflows are grounded in real commissioning logs, real network topologies, antenna
behaviour, hybrid network designs, and fault‑finding cases. This evidence‑based approach is what makes the
training feel OEM‑level and operationally relevant.
5. Designed for Operational Readiness
Training outcomes are focused on operational readiness: stabilisation behaviour in harsh conditions, link
degradation patterns, failover logic under load, crew network segmentation, remote support workflows, and
escalation/RMA procedures. Engineers finish ready to deploy, not just pass a quiz.
6. Clear, Structured, Professional Modules
Each module follows a consistent structure: system overview, architecture diagrams, component breakdown,
commissioning workflow, diagnostics and tools, fault‑finding, case studies, best practices, and assessment. This
mirrors the structure of official vendor training and supports both individual and corporate learning paths.
7. LMS‑Integrated Assessments & Tracking
Our Moodle‑based training platform provides timed assessments, scenario‑based questions, progress tracking,
completion certificates, and corporate reporting. Learner data and assessment records are managed under a defined
legal and data protection framework.
8. Corporate‑Ready Training Framework
AMC Academy Tech is structured for fleet operators, maritime IT teams, VSAT/LEO integrators, managed service
providers, offshore energy, and government/defence environments. Our legal framework including LMS Terms of
Service, Data Processing Agreement, and Corporate Training Data Agreement is designed for enterprise use.
9. Built for the Future of Maritime Connectivity
Our programmes look ahead to the next decade of maritime connectivity: LEO/GEO hybrid networks, SD‑WAN bonding,
maritime 5G, high‑throughput antennas, cloud‑integrated vessel networks, and remote monitoring. We train engineers
for the networks they will actually be asked to build and support.
