LMS Terms of Service

These LMS Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the AMC Academy Tech Learning Management System (“LMS”) and associated online training services. By creating an account, enrolling in a course, or using the LMS, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Eligibility & Accounts

You must be at least 18 years old, or have appropriate authorisation from your employer or sponsoring organisation, to use the LMS. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

2. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the LMS only for lawful purposes and to:

• Access courses and materials for your own learning or authorised corporate training.
• Respect intellectual property rights and licence terms.
• Refrain from attempting to bypass security controls or disrupt the platform.
• Refrain from sharing your login details with unauthorised individuals.

3. Course Access & Availability

Access to specific courses, modules, or assessments may be time‑limited or subject to corporate agreements. We reserve the right to update, modify, or withdraw content, courses, or features at any time, while endeavouring to minimise disruption to active learners.

4. Assessments, Exams & Certification

Some courses may include graded assessments, examinations, or certification pathways. You agree to complete such assessments honestly and in accordance with any published rules or proctoring requirements. We reserve the right to withhold or revoke certificates in cases of suspected misconduct or non‑compliance.

5. Intellectual Property

All course content, materials, and platform elements (including text, diagrams, videos, assessments, and branding) are owned by AMC Academy Tech or our licensors. You are granted a limited, non‑transferable licence to access and use the content solely for your personal or authorised corporate training purposes. You may not copy, distribute, resell, or publicly share course materials without prior written permission.

6. Data Protection & Privacy

We process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy, Data Protection Statement, and LMS Data & Assessment Policy. By using the LMS, you acknowledge that your data will be processed for purposes including enrolment, progress tracking, assessment, certification, and platform security.

7. Corporate & Sponsored Learners

If your access to the LMS is provided by an employer, client, or sponsoring organisation, certain information about your enrolment, progress, and completion status may be shared with authorised representatives of that organisation, as described in our Corporate Training Data Agreement.

8. Service Availability & Maintenance

We aim to provide a reliable and secure LMS, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Planned maintenance, upgrades, or unforeseen technical issues may temporarily affect access. We will take reasonable steps to minimise downtime and communicate significant service interruptions where possible.

9. Suspension & Termination

We may suspend or terminate your LMS access if you breach these Terms, engage in misconduct, or compromise the security or integrity of the platform. In corporate training contexts, we may also act on the instructions of the sponsoring organisation where appropriate.

10. Disclaimers

Training content is provided for educational purposes and is not a substitute for professional judgement, safety procedures, or regulatory requirements. While we strive for accuracy and relevance, we do not guarantee that all content is free from error or suitable for every specific operational context.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, AMC Academy Tech shall not be liable for any indirect, consequential, or incidental damages arising from your use of the LMS. Our total aggregate liability in connection with any claim relating to the LMS shall be limited to the fees paid (if any) for the relevant course or service.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these LMS Terms of Service from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page indicates the most recent revision. Continued use of the LMS after changes are published constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
